Welcome to the Mothers as Leaders community. We are a professional learning community for ambitious women. We offer curated resources on career development, entrepreneurship and how to thrive with positive intelligence. Our founder is Steliana van de Rijt-Economu, award winning author and executive coach. Our monthly newsletter will help you stay in touch.
OUR STORY
Founded in March 2020 by Steliana van de Rijt‑Economu in Wassenaar, The Netherlands, our community began with a group of pioneering mothers who wanted to counter the negativity in the air with hope and action.
From day one, we set out to be international, positive, and inspirational. We wanted a space that felt informal yet offered professionally curated learning topics. We wanted regular live connections—often through Zoom—that brought people together across borders. And above all, we wanted it to be inclusive, welcoming every voice into the conversation.
This is more than a private Linkedin group, it is an international community for mothers—and for all professional women and men who believe that mothers are leaders. Our official language is English.
We exist to inspire, develop, and sustain motivation in challenging times. We share practical tips and knowledge. Community members are welcome to present and share topics of broad interest. We currently have 344 members spread across 4 continents.
